What to expect

If you're going in expecting them to deliver major iPhone or Mac updates, you're probably going to leave disappointed. By all accounts, this is going to be an iPad-focused event, with some accessories sprinkled in.

An updated iPad Pro with a high-end OLED display is expected to be the main draw, but the lower-cost iPad Air seems to be getting a refresh too.

The Apple Pencil, featured in the event graphic itself, will almost certainly get an update with the potential for haptic feedback and new gestures.

Other accessories like cases and keyboards could very well be announced, and the Apple Vision Pro might start shipping to new regions, but that's about it on the hardware side.

iOS 17.5, in beta for weeks now, probably ships alongside the updated devices, but don't expect major new features until iOS 18 comes along later this year.
